Currently I am working in a construction company as an Accountant. Mostly I have to work on MS Word & MS Excel. Basically, this is the Head office of a group, who are managing four different types of businesses and this construction company is one of its businesses. I am also working sometimes for other entities of this group. I am supposed to do book keeping and maintain party ledgers. I have to make single step income statement for some of the entities. I have to submit online bid for the tenders of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) on its website. I have to correspond with the clients through letters and emails.
I also have to maintain data on Quickbooks.
From 1st Sept 2012 to 31st August 2019 I worked as a Night Auditor in a hotel in KSA in Makkah. I had to work on the software named OPERA. I had to check the payments through credit cards and reconciliation of the credit card machines. I had to check the F & B cheques. I had to reconcile the Cashiers Summary and to keep an eye on the Arrivals and Departures statement. I ensure the accuracy of the data by applying various checks. I had to keep an eye on the online bookings. I had to make the Revenue report and look into the reservations. I had to check the micros report. I also had to manage the Accounts receivables. From October 2016 I was promoted to a Income Auditor .I had to track all the payments. I had to make weekly Flash reports and Aging reports. I had to audit the petty cash (Spot Checks) for all the departments carrying the petty cash. I had to make F&B statistics report and overall stats and other reports as per the demand of the management.
I also need to check the validity of the food products in the food store and often assigned to do inventory of the fixed assets, operations inventory and store inventory. I work on-

I had to maintain data on the companys software and on Ms Excel and Ms Word. I had to draft letters. I had to E-file the Income Tax and Witholding Tax Returns.
From 2-7-06 to 3-3-07 in a carriage contractor company affiliated with Shell. I worked as a Finance Officer. I had to manage payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, payroll, working on a software named RTMS i.e. Road Transport Management System. I had to maintain data on this software. I also worked on MS Word & Ms Excel and to make a graphical report month wise on Ms Excel. I had to prepare quarterly Budget and analyze it as well. I had to manage petty cash. I also worked in the operations department. I had to monitor ETA and ATA and had to check it with the tracker report. I had to train the associates to be safe during and before / after journey keeping in view the principles of HSSE. I had to search for Tenders in Newspapers and on the internet and make quotations. I had to do Correspondence through letters and Email.
